ANDREW GRILLOS FLY FISHING AND FLY TYING

Andrew’s been tying flies for over 25 years and is one of the industry’s most well represented signature fly designers. His unique fly patterns are exclusively produced and distributed by Umpqua Feather Merchants, offering the highest quality product and the widest distribution network in the fly fishing industry. Andrew is also an in-demand presenter and teacher on various aspects of fly tying and he books a handful of travel dates to present and teach around the country every year.

Andrew has been a passionate fly angler since the early to mid 1990’s. He spent 13 years working as a full time guide, from 2001-2014. Andrew was fortunate enough to guide fly anglers in a variety of world-class destinations including Western Colorado, Washington’s trout and steelhead rivers, Alaska’s legendary Kanektok river, as well as guiding trout Argentina, and Chile. He retired from guiding in 2014 and now focuses his fishing time on hanging out with good friends while enjoying being outdoors.
